How the EU-Ready Score works
Every verified robot on Compare Humanoids carries two scores: the EU-Ready score (can you realistically buy and deploy it in Europe?) and the compliance score (how complete is its regulatory documentation?). Both are computed from a fixed set of factors across five dimensions. We are independent: no manufacturer pays for placement, and scores are never negotiated.

EU supply status
Whether the robot can actually be bought in Europe today: available from an EU manufacturer, available via an EU distributor, pre-order with a date, enterprise sales on request, or R&D only. This is the backbone of the EU-Ready score — a robot that cannot be shipped to you cannot score well.

Compliance documentation
The state of CE marking, safety documentation, the EU authorised representative (for non-EU manufacturers), and the completeness of the technical file. These four factors form the compliance score shown next to the EU-Ready score on every verified robot.

Support & service coverage
Whether the vendor has an EU office, demo facilities, or certified service partners on the continent. Today this feeds the EU-footprint factor of the EU-Ready score rather than standing alone — full service-network verification is on our data roadmap.

Delivery timeline
Announced lead times and whether they are dated commitments or marketing targets. Timeline evidence currently flows into the availability-status factor; we publish it separately once a manufacturer provides a written, dated commitment.

Price transparency
Whether pricing is public, published as a band, on application only, or undisclosed. Transparent pricing raises the EU-Ready score; 'call us' pricing lowers it. Every price we show is a band, not a quote — final pricing always depends on configuration.
Where the data comes from
Only official manufacturer pages, official press releases, and direct manufacturer or distributor confirmations. We never score from third-party aggregators or unsourced media claims. Robots without enough official data display “Inquire” or “Needs assessment” instead of a number — a missing score is an honest answer, not a gap we fill with guesses. Each robot's detail page shows the exact sub-factors behind its scores.
Corrections
Spotted an error? Email hello@compare-humanoids.com with the robot, the factor, and a link to the official source. Verified corrections are applied to the catalogue and reflected at the next site update.
How to cite our scores
You may cite our scores with attribution: “EU-Ready Score, Compare Humanoids” plus a link to the robot's page or to this page. The score is a buying-effort summary, not a certification — please don't present it as one.
Frequently asked questions
Does a high EU-Ready score mean a robot is certified for my use case?
No. The score summarises how straightforward a robot is to buy and deploy in Europe — it is not a certification, and it never replaces your own compliance review. A robot can score well on availability and still require a site-specific risk assessment before deployment.
Where does the underlying data come from?
Only from official manufacturer pages, official press releases, and direct distributor or manufacturer confirmations.
